One day before a workout, I needed a snack that was:
b) low in fat
c) a good source of carbs
d) something hydrating
What did I come up with?
I pretty much threw what I had in a blender expecting it to taste horrible but it actually turned out quite nice. You need to get Amazonia’s Raw Greens powder – it’s a mix of different green grasses, herbs, sprouts, algae and natural sea minerals; absolutely amazing for liver detoxification. The banana is a great source of B Vitamins for energy and is, of course, a good source of carbs to fuel a workout. Pour in a little coconut water for electrolytes and extra hydration and, my secret ingredient, rocket leaves. Why is rocket so good before a workout? 1 frozen banana
1/2 cup coconut water
a big handful of rocket leaves
2 teaspoons Amazonia Raw Greens Powder*
Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Serve immediately.
